Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) is very large airport in Paris,
handling over 200,000 passengers daily.It is located 23 kilometres
(14 miles) north-east of Paris. There are several ways of transport from CDG to Paris.
You can arrive from CDG to Paris Place de l'Opéra by
bus for around 45 minutes. This is the cheapest way of CDG transportation to
Paris City.
The RER B metro line provides four departures an hour from CDG
to Paris in period between 5am and 12pm. Journey last around 25 minutes to Gare du Nord
train station and 45 minutes to Denfert Rochereau.
Air France offers shuttle services to Paris from Charles de Gaulle airport.
Departures every 15-20 minutes between 5.40am and 11pm.
It takes between 30-45 minutes from CDG airport to central
Paris by taxi, except in the busy 8am to 9.30am period by A1 freeway.
If your drive a car, for Paris from CDG airport, take the A1 motorway or Porte de Bagnolet by branching off to Paris Est. If heading to the airport, take the A1
motorway (Autoroute du Nord) by Porte de la Chapelle. You will arrive in central
Paris for between 20-60 minutes.
